A Deeper look into Demand Response in Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia Power is committed to meeting decarbonization goals by transitioning to a cleaner electricity grid. The increase of intermittent renewable generation and growth of peak electricity demand present challenges for the grid. Demand response can provide value by adjusting the timing of electricity consumption in response to grid conditions. This presentation will provide insights into demand response rates and programs currently offered to Nova Scotia Power customers, focusing on how these initiatives provide benefits to the grid and customers.
