Tech Session 3: Canada Infrastructure Bank Aging Building Retrofit Program

Canada Infrastructure Bank’s (CIB) $100 million investment to fund energy retrofits in aging buildings across Canada. Through this partnership, Ainsworth and our subsidiaries are providing turnkey design/build retrofit services aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 30% per building, with an average reduction of 37% across the project portfolio. The initiative is expected to cut 44,000 tonnes of GHG emissions annually and support approximately 500 jobs in the trades sector, helping Canada move closer to its climate goals.
